Privacy Policy.

This Privacy Policy explains how KEBLAN S.A. handles the personal data collected through this website (keblan.com), in line with Uruguay's Ley N° 18.331 on the Protection of Personal Data, overseen by the Unidad Reguladora y de Control de Datos Personales (URCDP). It covers only the data we collect on this site; the services we deliver to our clients are governed by each project's contracts.

1. Who we are

This site and your data are managed by KEBLAN S.A., an engineering company based in Montevideo, Uruguay, founded in 2024 by Isbel and Arnaldo C. Castro S.A.

  • Privacy contact: hello@keblan.com.

2. What we collect on this site

  • Information you give us: when you submit the contact form we collect your name, work email, company, country and the message you write. Submitting the form is the only way this site collects information that identifies you.
  • Analytics data (only with your consent): if you accept analytics in the cookie notice, we use Google Analytics and PostHog to understand how the site is used: pages visited, how you arrived, device and browser type, an approximate city-level location derived from your IP, and page interactions. This is collected under pseudonymous identifiers and analyzed in aggregate; neither tool runs until you accept it.
  • Minimal technical data: our hosting infrastructure records basic technical data for each request (such as IP address and browser type) in its operational logs, needed to run and protect the site.

We show no advertising and have no newsletter, and we do not seek to collect sensitive data through this site.

3. What we use it for, and on what basis

  • Replying to your inquiry about your project: based on your consent and on the steps you ask us to take. This is the only use we make of contact-form data.
  • Measuring and improving the site with analytics: based on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time from "Privacy preferences" in the footer.
  • Operating and protecting the site: based on our legitimate interest.
  • Meeting legal obligations: where the law requires it.

We do not use your data for other purposes and we do not sell it.

4. Cookies, analytics and local storage

Necessary storage is always on: a local preference that remembers your day/night theme (it never leaves your device and does not identify you), the local record of your cookie choice, and the session cookie our own team uses to sign in to the content admin; that cookie is never set for public visitors. Analytics cookies (Google Analytics and PostHog) only activate if you accept them in the cookie notice.

The default is no: if you dismiss the notice or do nothing, no analytics run. Your choice is stored on your device for up to 365 days, after which we ask again, and you can change or withdraw it at any time from "Privacy preferences" in the footer, as easily as you gave it. To document consent as Article 9 of Ley 18.331 requires, each accept or reject is also logged on our server: the categories chosen, the policy version, the date, the language and browser type, plus a salted one-way hash derived from the IP address: no name, no email, no raw identity.

5. Who we share it with

  • Infrastructure: the site is hosted on Vercel; contact-form submissions are stored as private records in Vercel's storage (Vercel Blob), under data-processing agreements.
  • Email: we use Resend to relay each form submission as an email notice to hello@keblan.com; it processes the details you submitted, as a processor, with no tracking pixels.
  • Analytics: Google (Google Analytics 4) and PostHog process site-usage data as processors, only if you accepted analytics.
  • Authorities: where a legal obligation requires it.

We do not sell or rent personal data to third parties, and this site shows no advertising.

6. International transfers

Some of these providers (Vercel, Resend, Google and PostHog) may process data outside Uruguay, for example in the United States. Where that happens, we require contractual data-protection safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) consistent with Ley 18.331.

7. How long we keep it

Contact-form submissions are kept while we handle your inquiry and for up to 24 months after our last exchange; then we delete or anonymize them, unless a legal obligation requires a different period. Consent records are kept for the life of the consent plus the period needed to prove it. Analytics data is kept for limited periods: up to 14 months in Google Analytics and up to 12 months in PostHog, and aggregated reports do not identify individuals. Hosting logs follow our provider's short retention cycles.

8. Your rights

Under Ley N° 18.331 you can access your personal data and request its rectification, updating, inclusion or deletion. Access is free once every six months. You can withdraw your consent to analytics at any time from "Privacy preferences" in the footer. To exercise these rights, write to hello@keblan.com and we will answer within the legal deadlines. You can also file an inquiry or complaint with the URCDP (Unidad Reguladora y de Control de Datos Personales, Uruguay).

9. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the data we hold: encryption in transit (HTTPS), private storage with access control for form submissions, and minimization of the data we ask for.

10. Children

This site is aimed at companies and professionals, not at minors. We do not knowingly collect data from minors; if you believe a minor has sent us data, write to us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes to the site or to the law. The current version, with its update date, will always be published on this page.

12. Contact

For any question about this policy or your data, write to hello@keblan.com.
